To help enrolled, senior citizens and disabled, members of the Snowbird and Cherokee County communities have a better quality of life, through home repair and emergency assistance.
The program has completed 28 home repairs, 337 emergencies, 60 Preventative Maintenance, and 85 after hour call outs for emergencies. We also look forward to a new ticketing system we expect to be online within the next fiscal year. This system will increase productivity and prevent delays in work orders. Would also like to see the reestablishment of the HELP committee, as this would help the programs policies stay in alignment.

Goals
– Initiate paperless ticketing system to reduce response time for jobs and office personnel.
– Ensure staff is comfortable and equipped with proper tools and knowledge of all aspects of the job.
Objectives
– Continue to work with the IT dept. and SoftAct to better equip employees with ticket system.
– Conduct monthly truck and building inspections.

Housing
The Housing program helps enrolled members of the Snowbird and Cherokee County communities to improve quality of life, by assisting in home repair. The program seeks to Encourage expanding Housing Rehabilitation services including: service wells for minor repair, service HVAC systems to the best of our ability, and provide septic pump service to Housing clients. Housing also looks to educate enrolled members on the service provided and their eligibility requirements.
Building Maintenance
To maintain the buildings and grounds of the SB/CC Services Division. Creating the best possible environment for employees, visitors, and community members.
The Building Maintenance Program has worked this past year on maintaining grounds at the Jacob Cornsilk Complex. They have taken on the responsibility of the new grounds at the Complex to maintain the grounds as a resort style property. The Program has also obtained more equipment to better serve the community and to be self-sufficient and assisting other Tribal Programs to prevent delay of service.

Goals
– Control facility and operational cost for EBCI properties.
– Maintain updated equipment to better service the community.
– Maintain and improve operational efficiency within the department to better service Tribal buildings and conduct monthly inspections to better prevent maintenance issues.
– Work with IT to develop electronic ticketing system.
– Maintain a monthly service schedule for heavy equipment.

Program Activities
– Maintenance of all grounds, sidewalks, & parking lots. Including mowing, weed eating, & leaf blowing.
– Continued on-site cleanup of historic sites and grounds.
– Monthly- changed filters in all buildings HVAC systems, checked and replaced any light bulbs, and checked fire extinguishers.
– Treated sidewalks, entrances, and parking lots during delays for snow and ice.
– Acquired all outdoor and indoor equipment for special events such as stage, chairs, and tables.
